Knitpicks box arrived yesterday—I’m temporarily the happiest girl in the world!

The laceweights are for scarves, the stroll for socks?, the rest for mittens and gloves … I’m getting a head start on christmakkuh knitting. The “garnet” gloves got their start last night during dinner.

I also had to try out my new options nickel plated interchangeable needle set, so I cast on a sweater from somewhat recycled yarn and made decent progress while doing the laundry.

Lastly, the purple scarf has been on the needles since I left Syracuse 2 weeks ago, but it doesn’t yet have a recipient in mind, and I haven’t made much progress on it :-/
